The link below to the California Department of Education has two sections that will be of interest to parents. One is Curriculum and Instruction, where the grade level state standards are available. The other section, Testing and Accountability, will give you information on the annual state testing that takes place every spring (2nd - 6th grades). The 1st grade takes a different test, which is not mentioned on this website. Please ask your child's teacher for information on 1st grade testing.
