Pomona USD Council of PTAs

Parent involvement is critical to a child's success in school and is highly encouraged. This year we are proud to announce the establishment of the Pomona USD Council of PTAs. The Council will serve to support the eight existing Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Units already in existence and to assist school sites whishing to establish a new PTA Unit at their site. Through their involvement in PTA parents and teachers can work to enhance student services and provide a forum for open discussion on various issues that are of concern to parents and guardians. Each PTA unit is actively involved with the school principal and organizes fundraising efforts aimed to support various activities, such as cultural arts programs, field trips, and classroom special events.

The Pomona USD Council of PTA Board invites you to join your local PTA unit or to contact us at (909) 397-4711 extension 3801 for information on how to form a PTA unit at your school.
