ATTENDANCE

Great attendance is zero absences plus any combination of two (2) excused tardies and/or excused early releases (such as doctors’ visits, dentist appointments, etc.). Special recognition and rewards are given to children by grading period and at the end of the year for perfect attendance.

The importance of regular attendance cannot be over-emphasized.  A child should be in school every day that he/she is physically able.  It is extremely difficult to successfully keep up with class work if attendance is irregular. A student that arrives late or leaves early will receive a Tardy on their attendance record.  Please bring your child to school on time and do not take him/her out early if at all possible.

Be sure to your child attends school each day. Students are to be at school by the time the bell rings at 8:05 a.m. (7:55 for morning Kinder).  A tardy student disrupts the entire classroom environment.
