The Upward Bound North and South and Math and Science summer programs' culminating event was an academic awards ceremony and banquet at Pitzer College. Students received certificates of completion for the summer residential program as well as various residential and academic awards amongst their peers and teachers, Special awards were presented to students in the following categories: Most Improved Student, Most Outstanding Academic Achievement.
