Homeless Education Support

Pomona Unified School District Health Services has developed a program to help homeless preschool – grade 12 children and youth enroll, attend and succeed in school. The primary goal is to eliminate barriers that stand in the way of school success for the homeless children and youth of Pomona.

The program is year round at The Family Resource Center on the  campus of Fremont Middle School. Here, caseload technicians connect with homeless children and their families, assisting with enrollment and offering educational support and connection to the health and social services they may need at school and in the community.
