"Love You, Love Me, Be Drug Free"
Essay Contest Winners
It takes strength and determination to live a drug-free life and be a positive role-model for others. It also takes guts to tell someone they love to stop doing drugs. Although some of the featured writings are fictional, the students of Pomona Unified School District have shown strength and guts; showing the negative impact drugs have on lives as well as the positive power a drug-free life can lead. Regardless of who students wrote to or why they wrote it, the common factor is that all of our students have a lot of love and hope in their hearts. May the love and hope spread so our community and families can live healthy, happy and drug-free lives.
