 New Requirements for Valedictorian / Salutatorian to Begin With Incoming Freshman Class Valedictorian is the academic title conferred upon the highest ranked student among those graduating from an educational institution, typically based upon the highest grade point average. Salutatorian is the academic title conferred upon the second highest ranking student in the class. Beginning with this incoming Freshman class (Class of 2015), the way in which these GPA's are calculated, will be changing. We are pleased to announce that the Board of Education approved a "Universal Breakfast Program." Starting August 23, 2011, breakfast (if offered at the school site) will be available to all students free of charge. The lunch price at DRHS is now $1.80. Applications for the free & reduced lunch program can be brought to Food and Nutrition Services, 1460 E. Holt Ave, Suite 160. |
