We are pleased to announce that Alcott has received their official scores for our students.  Alcott exceeded the target for the state measurement for student success, the Academic Performance Index (API), this year for the third year in a row.  Our API this year is 752 and we are on the right path for student achievement.

I want to thank the parents and the community for all of their support and for assisting us with the education of the children here at Alcott.  The wonderful teachers and support staff truly appreciate your help and want to extend our heart felt thanks.

Please feel free to stop by at any time and visit this outstanding school where we strive for EXCELLENCE to meet the needs of every student, in every classroom, every day. It is because of you that we are successful.

Accelerated Reader

Each of our students who meets a goal of 5 points in the primary grades and 10 points in the upper grades receives a tag to add to his/her key chain of success.  In our library you can see the progress of each student illustrated on a train significant to the standards taught at that grade level.

"Winter Magic"

What a success!  The students performed wonderfully and we had nearly 1000 friends and family watching the 0ver 300 students.  Great Job!  Thanks to our PTA and Volunteers for the wonderful decorations and to Mrs. San Martine and Mr. Sweeney from Simons for allowing us to use their gym.  We couldn't have done it without you!
